Studio MK27 designs beachfront residential community for Vietnam’s Halong Bay
Brazilian architecture office studio MK27 has completed the design of caye sereno — an exclusive beachfront residential community in vietnam’s ha long bay. designed by marcio kogan and maria cristina motta, the complex comprises 18 luxury villas that each offer unobstructed views of the basin and its small picturesque islands. the scheme represents vietnam’s aspiration to become a market for luxury residential property development and investment.
With prices starting at $3 million USD, each 3-6 bedroom dwelling features a private infinity pool in addition to a range of indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces. at ground level, expansive living and dining areas have been crafted using natural materials, while above, cantilevered volumes protrude over spacious poolside terraces.
Conceived as ‘an oasis of serenity’, the visual continuity of streamlined concrete slabs is punctuated by natural stone masonry and movable glass walls, providing highly flexible living spaces. the upper levels comprise spacious master suites, each of which affords breathtaking views of the bay.
A fully-equipped outdoor grill and kitchenette offer the possibility of al fresco dining, or even beach parties. beyond the villas, a state-of-the-art gymnasium and yoga studio provide opportunities for on-site workouts, while a full-size tennis court is also available to residents.
